Another of Sushi’s beautiful girls and like her sister Toro, was born with CH. Nori is a quiet little girl whom we nicknamed ‘Weevil’.
This wobbly queen is looking for a home with a family who understand additional needs in cats and are either experienced in caring for a disabled animal or happy to learn and give her the best life possible. She has a very gentle little nature and adores being centre of attention on a lap, in a bed, on a pillow… or even just being carried around so she can see the world from a different perspective. She can’t walk, however she stabilises herself on a skirting or solid surface and has mastered moving herself if she’s feeling supported.
I’ve spent many weeks learning about her condition and I’m sure Karla is sick of my hundreds of questions, all of which she’s answered very patiently and at length. It’s been a fascinating learning experience and if I can impart with any of my knowledge from the CH journey with these girlies, I’d be more than happy to. This delicate little weevil is still learning the art of laying down using the litter tray, but once she’s in she has expert skills in digging litter, she's especially good at getting it absolutely EVERYWHERE!
She’s got a fabulous appetite and ‘pecks’ at her food and water. She is very good at crying out if she’s stuck somewhere or needs a bit of reassurance. She’s playful with other kittens and a small dog and gives as good as she gets from her playmates.
